LanCam Scout is a paid, ad-free utility that finds IP cameras on the Wi‑Fi network you are currently using.

FAQ

• No cameras appear. Confirm the iPhone is on the same Wi‑Fi as the cameras (not cellular, not a guest VLAN that isolates clients). Allow Local Network access in iOS Settings → LanCam Scout. Wait for the scan to finish.
• The gateway / router is listed. That is expected. Routers are shown under other devices, not as cameras.
• Does the app guess passwords? No. It never tries logins, default passwords, or cloud accounts.
• Does the app need the internet? No. Discovery stays on your current LAN. Scan results are not uploaded.
• Is there a subscription? No. LanCam Scout is a one-time App Store purchase.
• Some cameras hide ONVIF. The app still looks for RTSP, snapshot pages, Bonjour names, and common vendor ports.
